Are you serious about dance? The you'll know how important a good technique is!

Taught by West End dancer & choreographer Paul Allnett, ensuring you have a solid technicque for all dance stylesexpected of you in the industry.

Jam Theatre Co. certainly knows how important a good dance technique is, especially when we are casting for dancers in our shows! That’s why we offer training. This class is a supplement to your existing dance class, to give you a good foundation, or if you’re new to dance, this is the best start possible!

An adult dance class is available for those students over 16 years of age.

Fees: £60 (Level 1 - 45 min) £80 (Level 2 - 1 hour) per 10 week term

'JAMMED' SATURDAY THEATRE SCHOOL

PROFESSIONAL THEATRE TRAINING FOR 11 - 16 YEARS

Acting • Singing • Dance • Technical Theatre

JammEd is a vibrant mix of all theatrical disciplines. Every Saturday has a buzz of hard work and excitement! Students are streamed according to age and ability, and put into 4 groups. They then rotate throughout the morning between acting, singing, dance and technical theatre.

Throughout a typical year students will get to experience a variety of different modules within acting, singing, dance and technical theatre, for example: Improvisation, Devising, Voice & Speech, Monologues, Scenes, Harmony & Ensemble Singing, Vocal Technique, Ballet, Street, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre Performance, Theatre Lighting, Live Sound, Set Design, Stage Management, Make-Up, Mask-Making and many many more...

Each morning is finished with all the students together and encouragement certificates awarded.

As a team of professional performers and educators, we are passionate about our job, and believe firmly that the performing arts can be such a boost in self esteem, co-ordination, self discipline and confidence – as well as nurturing those who desire a future in it.

ACTING CLASS

Due to demand, Jam introduced specific acting classes for 13 – 16 years last year for students interested in going a little deeper into the techniques of Acting.  This class is perfect for GCSE students, and will equip you with the tools to drastically improve your acting.

INDIVIDUAL SINGING LESSONS

NOW Mornings & Afternoons!

Our individual singing lesson have been so popular so far that we have now extended their availability to all day Saturdays. We currently have two teachers available, however places are going fast - so please call today for further information!

Students often find it difficult to find good singing tuition.  Artistic Director for Jam Theatre Company, Jo Noel-Hartley, has 18 years experience in vocal tuition and training in the music and theatre industry.  Since producing two vocal workout CDs and running numerous vocal workshops and adult classes, Jo only employs the best singing teachers to ensure that you are taught the correct technique and skills to dramatically improve your singing.  Lessons are available to all students from those who are new to singing, to the experienced needing to learn more from a singing teacher than just repertoire.

Fees: Starting from £10 per 20 minute private lesson
