This is a class for adults who would love to learn how to sing properly! Most people enjoy singing, whether they are good at it or not! There’s something about singing that makes the soul feel good. Wouldn’t you like to have the confidence to know that the sound coming from your mouth is enjoyable to listen to? Getting trained can radically change your vocal sound and give you the knowledge and skills to fix any dodgy notes. Because the voice is part of your physical body, it is always evolving. With a thorough vocal technique you can always be in control of the sounds you make.
This course will cover: Vocal anatomy, vocal technique, how to use your voice safely, vocal warm up exercises, voice projection, tuning issues, singer analysis, solo singing, staging, microphone technique and performance skills.
This 10 week course includes: Vocal Workout CD, rehearsal backing tracks, & singing with a live professional band in the final show at the end of the term.
